When you complete a course in the IAPS Digital Academy you will be awarded a digital badge and certificate by email. You can share or download this digital credential as evidence of your learning.
Your badge and certificate are issued using Certify, an Open Badges software platform. Once issued, your award can be found in your credential 'Wallet' on Certify.
What happens when I get issued my badge and certificate?
On completing a module in the IAPS Digital Academy, you will shortly receive an email from Certify to the email address with which you log into the Digital Academy. This may take up to 2 minutes. The email provides a link to view your award. If this is the first time you are viewing your award, Certify will prompt you to set a password. Set a password as soon as you can to make it easier to return to your Wallet.
How do I view my badges and certificates later?
From the IAPS Digital Academy
You can view your awards any time by clicking Awards while in the IAPS Digital Academy app. You don't need your Certify password to view your badges this way - the IAPS Digital Academy and Certify are integrated together for this.
The Awards button can be found on the Home screen of the app, or, if you are using the web app, on the left hand side of your Library/Dashboard.
From elsewhere
Go to app.certify.one and click to say that you are a Recipient. Enter the password you set for Certify the first time you viewed a badge. If you haven't created a password for Certify yet, click Forgot your password? and enter your email address to request a password reset.
How do I download my certificate?
- Navigate to the credential that you would like to download.
- Underneath the badge or certificate image, click the Download Certificate button.
- A PDF version of your certificate will appear. Save this onto your computer or print direct from this screen.
