In the dashboard you can view how a specific user is engaging with their courses and which courses they have completed.
From your Home page, click on Users or, from anywhere on the dashboard, click on Users on the left hand side. If you are inside a group, your learners are all listed on the Learners tab.
Search for the user's name to find them easily on the list. The list will tell you at a glance:
- How many courses the user has started
- How many courses the user has completed
- When they were last active in their courses
Learner details
Click on the user to see more detail.
When looking at a user in detail, there are 4 tabs:
- To Do: these are courses that you or another tutor have designated as "to do" for this user, meaning you're expecting them to be completed. There may be a due date for completion.
- Completed: these are the courses that the user has completed. You can see when the course was completed.
- Started: these are courses started but not yet finished. You can see Progress through the course (the percentage of activities completed).
- Available: these are courses assigned to the user's account but not yet started.
Course detail
If you want to see more detail about engagement in a particular course, click on a Completed or Started course. For the course you will see:
- Progress: the percentage of activities completed in each section of the course, so you can see which parts of the course the user has engaged with.
- Score: quiz scores for the end of each section, including the end of course quiz, which gives the overall score for the course.
- Self-eval: 1-5 score given by the user in response to questions like "I found this content useful".
If the course has an end-of-course test, the score achieved will be displayed on the right hand side. This is the user's overall score for the course.
