Course library
Your course library contains all the courses/modules that are on your learning account. They are divided into three tabs.
Available
These are all the courses in your library. You can search for courses by title or description and filter your list by relevant course categories.
You can read a short description of the course before starting it. You can also choose to add courses to your 'Favourites' so they're ready for when you want to start them.
Favourites
These are courses that you are currently studying or that you have chosen as a favourite. They are also courses that that have been set by your tutor as To Do. To Dos may have a deadline for completion, so watch out for them.
Any course that you start (by completing a learning activity) or download to the mobile app will appear here. If you have favourites, the library will open on the favourites tab so it's easy to pick up from where you left off. You can remove a course from your favourites either by clicking Remove on the course image, or by tapping Remove from device on the mobile app.
Completed
This is a list of all the modules you have completed so you have a record of your achievement. You can still review a completed course any time but you can no longer add it to your favourites.
Studying a course
Courses are made up of sections and pages. You can turn the page with the page arrows (or by swiping left or right in the mobile app). Or you can use the contents menu on the left hand side to navigate directly to a section or page.
Progress and scores
As you study a course you complete popup learning activities. These count towards your progress. Your progress shows as a percentage for each course or as an average for all the courses that you've started.
Some courses have a test at the end of the course. The result will be your score for the course. You may have to attain a pass mark.
Completing a course
To complete a course you must usually reach 100% progress. This may include passing the end of course test.
When you complete a course you will be awarded a digital badge and certificate. This will come to you by email within 2 minutes. You can see all your badges and certificates by going to Awards.
Learning record
By going to Download data on the right hand side of your course library you can download a PDF transcript of all your course completions and starts. This record may be useful as evidence of your learning.
